New tank cycling!! Cant wait!
I just picked up my third tank and its now cycling... Planning on getting a teacup stingray for it. Ive heard that they dont grow too big and are the easier type of stingray to take care of.... I cant wait Im going to order my stingray later today!!!!

how long have you been cycling? its probally a better idea to wait until your tank is cycled, incase anything happenes(knock on wood). Stingray are cool:) when u do get it, post some pics:)

It takes a couple weeks to cycle using ammonia.....sometimes 3. How are you cycling?

Teacup (reticulated) rays are uber sensitive and will not do well if the tank is not perfect. They can also be the pickiest feeders in the world!
What size tank is this? they can reach a disk size of 17".-Jordan

Right now its been cycling for a week and a half, Im just ordering the stingray as it will take weeks for it to get here.

Teacup has a max size in aquarium of 14 inches, males are smaller then that.

On page 2 a guy has one with a 15" disk and 30" TL (this was in 07)...thus I would say they get larger than 14". I am going to inquire more info from him on this ray...just to see if he still has it and how large it is.

I always hate posting links to other forums, but if it helps...i guess that's what counts? I asked him a few questions...I'll update if I get a response.
