First Day of School!
Yesterday was the first day of highschool in this neck of the woods.
Does anyone except Canada get the Staples commercials - where the parents are ecstatic that the kids are back at school? I luv those - always make me laugh.
My daughter is in Grade 12 and my younger son in Grade 9, so we should have an interesting year with Grad preparations and with the transition to high school activities for the younger one.
It IS nice to have everyone safely back in an institution...

Kids are gone so it just means more traffic on the roads. I do love the Staples commercial though.

Tuesday is coming fast!
I had to go get them registered in high school yesterday.
That cost me 60 bucks! Its worth it but I never had to pay to go to high school. Does anyone else?Ray

No. We don't have registration fees...but we do have hefty activity fees...

I'm a retired teacher...I LOVE when school starts and I can see the school bus picking up the kids. I get a kick out of NOT having to work, then!
