water change question?

I just got my first aquarium all set up with my 2 angelfish and 3 glassfish on Friday, March 31, 2006. How often do I need to change the water, and how do I do it? Do I need to add more conditioner when I do it or what? I am very new here. Thanks so much. :)

Change about 20% of the water once a week to new water with the same temperature. Add conditioner to the new water only before putting it into the aquarium.

It can be good to poor the water onto your hand or a plate to avoid disturbing the bottom of the tank.

Make sure that you use a bucket or something that is clean and without chemical residues.
