Double Filters?
In a 30 Gallon
I was wondering if I could run my Penguin 170 Bio-Wheel which I am right now, and I was wondering if I could put my Aqua Clear 20 on the other side of the back also. The Aqua Clear is meant for a 10g-20g, but I think it would benefit my aquarium, and keep it cleaner. It is running constant on less then 20 in nitrates which is good.30 Gallon

Additional/backup filtration is always a good idea unless it creates too much current, which I don't think will be the case for you. Go for it

I think it is Reptileguy2727 that says "you can never over-filter"

Note saltwater tanks can take (and need) much more current than freshwater ;)

I think many of us here use double filtration. Nice to have both sides of the tank filtered.

Thank you everyone, I put the filter in yesterday it has created a little current on the top, but the platys are just playing in it. So it is all good!
