I admit to occasionally brushing my hair in public, but I have never done it in a crowd or around food/a place where such is prepared/or some place like a cafe or restaurant. I've done it once or twice in a deserted aisle in a huge department store, with nothing but the security cameras watching me, lol. *shrugs* Otherwise I don't see how that could offend anyone.

Feet on couch/furniture in the house...I don't mind as long as they have their shoes off, lol. Personally I never do it in another person's home unless I know for certain it's a-ok and everybody is doing it. I have to say mostly everything else depends entirely on the company. I don't let my amigos or friends of the family/etc. just totally trash the place out, of course not. A lack of courtesy and good manners whilst a guest in our humble abode is inexcusible, and I make sure to pick up after myself/etc. in other homes, but fortunately we have never had any problems with this. As far as yawning/teeth picking goes...I don't care, although personally I cover my mouth and refrain from picking my tooth in public, but that's just how I was raised. Really those things seem rather trivial. I've yet to experience the random furniture arranging and phone-napping.

People walking into my house unannounced? Irritating, just a I prefer to be presentable and have the place at least a little picked up beforehand, but I have friends who are polar opposite in that respect.
Interupting conversations? Yeah, that's pretty rude.

Oh but chewing with one's mouth open just irks the hell out of me. Blech!

I wonder if we should have obligatory etiquette classes at school? Wouldn't have to be an entire course - but could be part of Health...or whatever system that school has...
