Plants not looking to hot
I finally got my first set of plants las night and did everything I thought was right but as u all know anything I do by the book always backfires lol. Anyway I did a 3 min dip in bleach 19 to 1 mix now most of my plants look like they are going to die. The vals look like you can see through them the cryps started to wrinkle a little the hornwort looks brown. Is there anything I can do to save them

Just a wait a little bit and see if they come back. I've personally never used the bleach method . . . just a rinse in tap water. A 3 minute dip may have been a bit too much for your plants - not really sure since I've never used that method. Crypts do often melt though after being moved and replanted, but they usually grow right back.

Introducing plants to a new environment, especially after being shipped in a less then desirable manner as you described, will lead to some slight discoloration.
Give it a week and it should improve.-Dr. James

My vals did the same, I didn't bleach em but they did turn translucent and I thought they would all die. Only thing I added was root tabs and they are starting to come back now, little over a week since planting.
72 Gal. bowfront 10 neons, 1 dwarf gourami, 6 yo yos, 2 mystery snails, 5 ghost shrimp, 4 BN's, 3 ottos. (planning for 3 cacs if I can ever make up my mind)

The bleach probably killed the hornwort, crypts melt almost anytime they are moved so wait and see if they improve. The vals melt too so they may recover.

I just read somwere that snails can not tolorate my ph of 6. Is that true that would make my life very easy if I could put the plants in and let my ph kill them
