Undergravel filter
I set up my tank thinking i would use an undergravel filter for filtration. But after i filled it ann stocked it i decided that it wouldnt be for the best for my discus. Is it all right if i just cap the tubes near the gravel?

Yes, as long as you don't open them at a later time. You can also just leave them open and create a popular hiding place for catfish and fry but than it would be best if you had any way to look under the filter.
