  1. Default Help me help him!

The CPD shipment arrived safe and sound today. The seller had put in two extra fish for me, free of cost.

But one of the 12 fish is very thin, almost concave. He is swimming with a lot of effort, and seems to be dying.

Could I help him in any way?

    a)does he eat?
b)how is he swimming, is he doing circles and "flips"????
c)does he hang in the corner, or with others?
    currently:20 gallon tank with:
    3 african dwarf frogs
    1 bristlenose pleco
    7 swordtails
    4 hengli rasbora
    1 platy

    aqueon quietflow 20 filter.

I have not seen any of them eat. (arrived today morning)

He tries hard to climb up, which he does slowly, and then falls back down.

He hangs alone, not with the others.

I'd say most of them don't look very good. Malnourished, weak. Hopefully we're not seeing the start of a spinal curvature consistent with TB.
    8 tanks running now:
    1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

Now he is lying on a leaf, almost dead. :(

But it looks like his stomach is concave, not his spine. When I read up on fish TB, the symptoms were that the fish looks curved from above, not sideways.

    I have quarantined him, nevertheless.

If I somehow get a fish that is deformed I cull it.

Spinal curvature is not going to get better, and if it is TB you want to get it out of there yesterday.

The rest are swimming all right, and they seem to be okay. But a couple more have stomachs that look a bit concave(Not as half as this guy, but still)

One of the fish has a slightly curved tail when looked from above,(somewhat S shaped)

    What should I do?
