Pics of my visit to the Georgia Aquarium
Whats up everyone! Been a while since Ive posted here, just wanted to share some pics. Dont know if I ever posted these here before but I saw them again so I thought I would share. Visited the GA Aquarium when I went to the ACC Tourney back in March, quite possibly the best aquarium I have been to.
Forgot what these were called, I think Sea Dragons. Thought they looked cool
A Japanese Crab. These things were HUGE. They were 14 inches from bottom to top
A nice setup they had there
One of the awesome reef tanks
Another pic
You can see how big it was. It even had a wave simulator at the top
The largest viewing tank at the aquarium. Thing had over eight million gallons of water. You can see the whale shark at the top.
Pic of the Whale Shark swimming at the top. GA Aquarium is the only aquarium in the world to have whale sharks (3). Quite a sight o see.
This is when they were feeding them
Pic from below as I walked through a tube
A tank full of Piranha
My favorite pic. The largest manta ray in the world.

It's been a while since I gone to the aquarium, like a year maybe? Last time I went they had 4 whale sharks, maybe one got sick or they released it back in the wild? Dang look at that manta ray! That certainly wasn't there, because I would have LOVED to see that. Very nice pics, my local aquarium is so lame compared to that one lol

I agree with you that the one fish is a Sea Dragon. I was a bit surprized to see the whale shark though! Pretty darn cool!
Great pics, thanks for posting them!

Ver nice shots!!

The Japanese Crabs remind me of the crabs I saw at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. The ones that I saw were at least 1 and 1/2 feet in height and were about 4-5 feet across from side to side.
I need to post the pics of the Oregon Coast Aqaurium that I got.
