Hi Everyone, I might have a problem?
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to say hello and that I'm new to this site and any help you can give me is greatly apreciated. Sorry for my poor spelling. I've recently bought my girlfriends 6 yr old son his first fish tank. The problem was I wanted one as well. So I bought myself a starter tank (5gallon), but bought too many fish...Koi's, Sarasa's, Fantails, Mollies, Spotted Green Puffers and couple of Plecos. So 2 days later I went up to a 10 gallon tank, and that seemed to be too small as well. So now I have a 20-25 gallon tank, 10 gallon, and a 5 gallon tank. My question or rather my problem is "Do they have a Goldfish Annonoymus Program I can join? My boyfriend and roommate say that everytime I go out, I come home with either a Larger Fish Tank, food, or more decorations to put in the tank. The funny thing is that all of this happened in the last 5 days.
Do you think I have a problem?

Actually no. You do not. Sounds either like a case of MTS, or multiple tank syndrome(quite common with new hobbyists), or your just not thinking your tank is not big enough. This is actually a very good thing for you, because all of those fish require at least a 30 gallon all by themselves, and the koi need tremendous ponds or tanks. I'd get rid of the koi and the plecos. Those will reach sizes that will run you out of house and home. Also the sarossas and fantails will not be easy to care for as a beginner. I would get rid of those. The mollies and the puffers will be a lot more easier to care for, and if you get rid of all the other fish, you open up your options for more fish. Welcome to the forum, by the way.
