Incorrect fish Id. What a score !!!
A pair of fish I have I was told and were labled at my LFS as Gabalema Hap. " Orange Hunter "
Are infact a lot rarer than even those.
After some extensive searching I have found them to be.:-
Lipochromis sp. "Matumbi Hunter"
The Matumbi Hunter
They only have between 8 - 15 fry.
From what I have read I need to get an egg tumbler as the female won't hold her eggs for more than 3 days.
But it will be worth it for such a rare fish to the hobby.
If I can get them to breed any fry are worth between £10 & £15 each.
Adults sell at £35.
I didn't pay 1/2 that for them, I think I can call that a score
It is these fish.

thats a great find! they are cool looking fish too. When I go fishing I just throw sharp rocks in the water and wait for the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Dear naps, sorry I hated you so much when I was a child... Love me

I phoned the LFS to tell them. There gutted
I was looking up orange hunter and the pics I have seen of them looked nothing like these. Body shape and colour was just all wrong.
I just kept looking and looking and today I found out.
I have had these guys in my tank now for over 2 months and it has taken me this long to get the real ID on them.
