Arrowana Tankmates help
I'm new to arrows and have only bought a silver arrow thats 20-25cm's and i have had him in my tank for about 1 wk now, i also have a 20cm gold spot pleco.
I had a tank full of fronts and tang. cichlids b4, i still have coral sand in the tank and i will be removing/changing it asap.
My concern now is wether to get a few tank mates, i have been told to have a look at 1/. Albino Tinfoil Barbs,
2/. Alto's,
3/. and some of the peaceful n larger cichlids ???
By the way i live in australia and the Albino Tinfoils at 2cm will cost me about $50 each.
My tank is 6 by 2 by 1.5 (approx. 550-580 litres)
Thanks for any input.

there are many good tankmates for aros. larger bottom dwellers will do well, as will regular tinfoil barbs... I keep frontosas with my 10" aro. Check my sig, so far no fights amongst the fish.

The larger the tank the better for arowanas, while very beautiful fish, they grow to MAMMOTH proportions 48inches+. A real tank buster.

These fish need tanks much larger than 200 Gallons. 1000 gallon + is a better size.

Tea cup stingray.
Most people should just get Jardini Arowana since they are easier to house.
