Some time back my mystery snail got stuck on the power filter stem. Ever since, he's been a mess. Very unhealthy looking. I think he may have been gnawed on by one or more of the fish while he was stuck. I havn't seen any of his tentacles since. Will fish nip off these if the snail is trapped? He also can't seem to fully retract into his shell. Is he doomed?

That's the thing. It's just Platies, Neons, Danios, and Cories. I guess any fish will become an opportunish, eh?

the neons, platys, and danios are probably the main suspects. The corys wouldnt hurt a brineshrimp. I personally think its the neons.

Well, the snail recovered. He carts arount the tank at a pretty good pace again looking for grub. It even looks as if the tentacles are slowly growing back.
