X-Box360 Ring of Death!

What is this,Does anyone know?
Has anyone dealt with it before?
Is it caused by live play or is it written into games?lol
Our box just got this disease or virus whatever it is!
There is a fix for sale that you have too download,has anyone tried it?

I need to know before my WIFE orders it!

I thought once you got the ring of death your cooked and need to get a new xbox. I would talk to xbox customer service..

Don't get me started on the 360 POS three rings of death.
I have had four systems in less than three years that all suffered from the 3ROD.

Each time it happened it had to go back to MS , except for the last one that I took apart and found a screw that was causing a dead short.
Now it works fine.

MS should be completely ashamed of this system it is such a POS.

Yet they still send you a new one every time?
At least its not like an ipod where it breaks and apple finds a to get out of it. Gosh I hate apple!

Actually they don't send you a new one its a refurbished unit that screwed up on someone else.

My son says only the first quarter was flashing
Has anyone ever taken one apart or opened it up?I want to blow it out ,not up.lol yet

I wouldn't take it apart, then you can send it in. I would just send it in for another one.

Its over a year old!
You must have the American Warranty.

They want 170 bucks on this side.

I have taken one apart , they are a bit of a pain in the a$$ but it is possible.
Do a search on Google and you will find the step by step instructions.
Remember though that once you take it a part BIG BROTHER I meant to say MS wont even touch it anymore.
Something to think about before you start messing with it.
