Update Mania - Submit profiles

Well update mania might have lost some pace but I will keep that name on the update threads until I have done everything I planned to do in two weeks

This update is due to popular demand. You can now submit profiles by filling in the form on http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/submit/profile.php

Try to fill in all fields but if you miss one or two I migth be able to fill those in. If you submit several profiles each needs to be unique. Even if you submit several species that can be cared for in the same way you can't copy paste the same text into both fields. You need to write a different text for each. You can enter however much text you want in each field. More text is always better as long as it is relevant.

You must write the profiles yourself. You are not allowed to copy them from other websites due to copyright rules.

For every profile you submit through this system and get approved you will recieve 5000 AC points and 200 rep points.

We need a lot of profiles on common and not so common species so I am sure you can all find something to write a profile about.

That brings up another question, probably best answered in pms but you have probably gotten plenty of those

Can i submit an article for publishing that was originally published in appropriate topic on the forum instead of submitted as an article?

Something else i thought of while typing this one out: (sorry for all the questions! lol)

What if we want add to an existing article/profile? After all the hobby, and peoples opinions both change constantly

WT: If you want to suggest an article you published on the forum to be published in the article section please send me a PM with the url to the article and I will look at it.

It is okay to copy from something you published on the forum to one profile (only one, if you write several you have to rewrite the text for the others) if the article only been published on this forum and have not been published in the content section of the site.

I will add a function to suggest additions to the existing profiles. Until then you can PM me with addition.
