Drip Acclimation help ASAP
I am trying to drip acclimate 3 neons into my aquarium. I will be using Wild Turkey's DIY method. I am dripping them into a pitcher, I was suppose to leave 3/4 of the water. Like an idiot, I got confused and emptied the lfs water to 1/4. Will the process still work? Also, I cant seem to start a siphon by sucking up water.

To start the cicle the height of the tip of the tube must be lower than that of the water in the tank.
Yes the system could still work keep going.
After about half the aclimation period you could put the bag to float in the aquarium water just to make temperatures exactly the same.

Yes, it will still work. I actually do it with roughly 1/3 to 1/4 original water regularly.
If you're starting a siphon by sucking on the hose, you just have to suck hard, and you need to drip LOWER than the home tank...or it won't work.
Don't drink the tank water...

Good. Good to hear it will still work. Well, I solved the siphon problem. I was actually blowing out rather than in. Wow, am I off today. I found out the hard way too. So I should still let it drip to the top of the picher before dumping and repeating?

Up to you. Once is probably enough. Just do it slowly.

I really don't know. In terms of temperature, it is a bit different.

I would go at least 2 filling, I've done 4-6 hrs several times, fish are ready to feed when released
As I get older I find myself thinking about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Unless there is a huge difference in the PH between where the fish came from, and your tank, acclimating that slowly isn't really necessary. One thing you can do in the future is check the PH in the bag you bring them home in and compare it to your tanks water.Unless you are adding something to your tank to raise or lower it,it will probably be pretty close to the same. Not that acclimating them slowly will hurt, but with most fish it isn't necessary.
Do you have more neons in your tank?Having only 3 isn't really enough of them.
