Another update...I had a bit of filament algae growing on a java fern leaf so I did a switch up on my maintenance routine. Ive been doing a 10% WC on mondays and thursdays adding each time 1/4ml of Flourish Comp, and now 1/2ml of Excel. The results are....
A much darker tank apperance?
Oh yes...THIS is why its darker!

Thanks everyone Thats just some leftover manzanita sticks from my 55G. I need to dive in there and work on the moss wall, Ill do that next week when I thin out some of that water lettuce.
Since things are going so well Id like to order a couple more super red cherries and some nerite snails. Im probably going with Zebra and Tiger nerites.75G|75G|75G|56G|55G|50G|50G|29G|20G|20G

Here we are at almost 2 weeks later thought id do an update.
Big filter or small tank? I was doing filter cleaning and as the 5G is on my bathroom counter I thought this pic was funny as the filter dwarfs the tank and thats just an XP3
Dark tank due to the amount of water lettuce
