Thread: Days of me life

    Default Days of my life

Well it is Sunday so I decided to take the day of from working on AC and head out and explore the sourroundings. Below is an image account of the day but I saw a lot more that I unfortunately couldn't get could pictures of. (hard to use the camera with UW housing on land) AmMong the other things I saw was a species of 4 eye fish, killies, live bearers and a Golden pufferfish (I soo regret missing it with the net by an inch)

    Arriving at the water edge:

Two shot of a common live bearer. They display a lot more blue then the picture displays. (might try to get them into a tank for better pics)

My trusted friend is of course with me in the mangrove forrest. Sitting on my shoulder or waiting in a tree. (prefers the shoulder)

    Small crab:

A stunning crab species that live here and that is so fast and agile that it is hard to get a decent shot. I love them!! the pics don't make them justice!

The crabs really stick out in this environment. Their are atleast 3 species of "Mangrove" crabs here but I stuck to photographing one this time.

Wandering deeper into the forrest with my trusted parrot on my shoulder

    More forrest:

    Unidentified livebearer:

Boys out fishing shrimp in the forrest catching a few on each try.

I have here left the forrest and are catching fry in tidal pools. I am sure some SW fan recognize this species

Another poor shout of the same fry

I ventured a little too far out into the ocean along a cliff wall to try to take photos of a stunning snail. A wave (two actually) flushed over my head and over the parrot on my shoulder giving him a bath. He did hardly react and kept calm on my shoulder, He did however become wet.

All fished were returned live and well.
