I AGREE!!! The damage has already been done and I don't think it will ever get better! The "el nino and "la nino" cycles also seem to be lasting far longer and happening more often than they used to!

I heard somewhere that its due to the changing of the oceans currents. The wind is one ofthe many side effects.
I wish I would have caught that from the beginning now!

One reason many species of fish are in trouble, because of the changing currents and temperatures of the ocean, which then impacts on the wildlife that needs those species of fish for food....and so on, affecting all species on the planet eventually...it becomes one vicious cycle which will lead to disaster one day. All very Doom and Gloom!!

Having said that....it is a glorious day here Sunny, not a cloud in the sky, gentle breeze and about 19*c....a lovely Autumn day by all accounts!

It rained a little earlier but this morning we went fishin in lake pontchartrain and the weather was great.

I dont understand why scientists are constantly complaining about the horrifying effects of global warming yet they do nothing to try and stop it. Thats one of the problems in the world these days people are constantly complaining but they do absolutely nothing to stop it.

Yea, We were learning in Biology 102 that we really can't stop Global warming because of human selfishness. Like take Louisiana losing coastline. Its because of our levees... We would grow as a state if we let the borders of the mississippi flood like it is supposed to but we harness it and let it dump all its sediment into the ocean. In about 50 - 100 yrs Baton Rouge will be the new coastal city! We also can't expect to get people to stop burning the rainforest because they need the land to feed their families.

    Rant over.

    Snow?!? Yikes!

We had to cover the plants tonight. We are under a frost warning.

It's 85* F here, for this weekend, which is way to hot for my liking.

The past couple winters have brought me more snow and hail then usual.
