Yes I did. I also hada tree frog junp on my head from a palm tree. Counted what I believe to be 12 frog species in the garden during the month i lived here. I also have an iguana on the roof. I live next to a wildlife reserve with crocs and lots of other wildlife. It is great.

It is not the same toad but the same species. The one inside show the regular coloration that I see here every day. (and was a reference pic) The intense yellow is the one I caught yesterday night and that I still keep trying to decide if it is to become a pet or not.

He still keep the color and had it ebfore I caught him. I observed him hunting bugs for 3 hours before deciding to catch him. Some specimens of the species can have yellow in them and so until later I will assume that the yellow trait is very strong in him. They squirt huge amount of poison on you to protect themselves. More than you ever would think could fit in a toad that size.

But your theory about being in the mod can play a part even if I think it is to early and other males are brown.

I thought brightly colored toads and frogs usually meant they were poisoness or something.

Well it is a fine specimen!! I probably would not keep him, but I am a chicken, LOL. I guess I would see if I could get him to eat first, that can become an issue when taking an animal from the wild. Sometimes they get stressed and stop eating.

Gloves would be a good diea but i am stupid :-)
I start wearing glovws if i get hallucinations. (one of the effects)

Getting him to eat should hopefully not be that hard as this species are known to eat anything, even dead food and is usually is to get to it. Allthough I imagen it can take a few days before it starts eating.
