Yes they may breed like guppies ( yet to have any fry though )
But I think these guys are so graceful.

they are beautiful fish and pictures!
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Smaug, you're here a lot just to say it's a waste of your time, poor baby, I bet you don't even know how big a loser you are, and how much we laugh at you and your foolish attempt to give your life meaning. Quit drinking, get a life, go take care of your family, grow up!

Yes they are African Cichlids from Lake Tanganyika.
They breed like stink once they get going.
The nice thing is The young from the previous spawns look after any fry from new spawns.
Thanks mommy1.

I have several hundred of those little buggers. Started with two and they overtook my 125. Dont get more than one or your asking for a swarm in my opinion.

Graceful and very nice fish, but quite expensive here. Last I heard they were about $150.00 each.
Great pics CF.
