Anyone else keep Synodontis aterrima? Ive bought myself a shoal of 4 1"ers from my supplier and have moved them into my 55G planted and they are wonderful, beautiful little guys. In my 12 years of fish keeping they are my first Synos and if the rest are as neat as these guys they wont be the last Heres a pic I swiped from fishbase as I havent got any decent pics of mine yet...

Sweet if they actually are Synodontis aterrima. I've never seen them listed f/s anywhere, but juvie S. eupterus are often commonly called "network" cats.
They also look pretty much identical to S. aterrima, but grow to twice the size as adults. How much did they cost you?

I bought mine as S.aterrima but I suppose time will tell if thats what they really are, my supplier isnt always the most reliable with names and such. I paid right at 4bucks each wholesale for them so they darn well better be what they listed them as...that would translate to a LFS cost of around 15bucks for a 1" baby

If they are indeed S. aterrima they won't grow much over three inches, meaning if you can house more if you can find them, since they are such little guys. If your fish start to take on a yellowish tinge as they grow, they are aterrima.
