I'm totally agreeing Miltonic, I'd love a nice reef tank rather than a jelly tank. We all have our own tastes though, but jellies seem dang hard to keep from what I know (very little). I don't find them boring, they are interesting, but the effort involved in keeping them just sounds somewhat insane. I'm going to try and talk to one of the caretakers of the MBA jelly tanks in the next few days, just to find out what it really takes to keep them, and which jellies are realistic for home keeping.

Hopefully I will come back from that with some info for you AABatteries, rather than just sounding like I am being discouraging towards what i think is a pretty cool idea. I really do not want to discourage any hobbyist, just really really doubt they are anything but difficult to keep.
No matter how much I learn or know I'm still gonna be a NOOB, but that doesn't mean I'm an idiot!

That's quite an interesting tank design. I had heard that they required round tanks, I had assumed that the tank would have to by cylindrical vertically, not horizontally. Just goes to show that you learn something new here all the time! Good luck with it and post pictures when you've got your jelly fish. You may just inspire some other folks!

Actually I used up 2 whole evening (6pm-12am) for the tank building and 1 for testing... Not too hard indeed... Its actually even more headache to source a round acrylic...
I am getting the jellies from the beach nearest to place I stay which will take bout 1.5 hours driving... That will be a seanettles

I am working on the tank stand and starting to cycle the tank before the first batch of jellies in... Hope will see something in my tank within this 2 weeks time...

You're right that they need to be cylindrical type but both vertical and horizontal type have pros and cons after my research... In 7 pounds, its vertical one... But a true Kreisel is horizontal... This is just a pilot project and if it successful, I will built a larger scale one probably a 3' cylinder as a display tank in my house... cant wait for that day to come
