Best feeding method?

Obviously corries are bottom feeders but is the extra food not eaten by the other fish enough to sustain them? I purchased some sinking brine shrimp pellets that are specific for corries, however when I put them into the tank it seems like they are largely ignored. What is the best way to feed these guys? Should I try zucchini like I do for my snails?

Just the uneaten food scraps isn't enough to sustain them and you do need to supplement their diet. When I had cory's I would feed them when the lights were off (being nocturnal) and I fed them shrimp pellets, Bottom Feeder Pellets as well as spirulina tablets. Most fish seem to like zucchini so it wouldn't hurt to try it and see. They may just need to get used to the shrimp pellets and if they are hungry enough they will eat it.

Cory's also don't have the best eyesight and it can take them time to find the food. You also don't want to overfeed them (I had a tendency to do that), so I only fed the pellets every 2nd day.

I feed mine alage wafers. They love them even though they are not for them. If you put one in near the glass a little later and all of your cories are eating it.

you might want to try some frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms. My fish seem to like the frozen food better than the dry stuff. And as you said you might want to throw some little bits of zuchini in there.

I just dropped in a couple of brine shrimp tablets and an algae wafer. In about 10 minutes all the corries were feasting and they were gone within minutes. thanks for the help!!!
