    What the best 18 inch light bulb I can get for a 20 gallon high if I want to improve plant growth?

    Well, the wattage for 18" regular bulbs is only 15 watts, which will not do much for a 20g regardless of how good the spectrum on the bulb matches up. If you don't want to invest in a PC fixture just yet, you can try any full-spectrum 6700k bulb and a nice reflector to maximize what light you have.

    I would recomend the kind of lightbulb that gives off light. Thats about as much as i know....
