  1. Default PUNISHER VETTE's pet peeve of this month

    returns.

I don't see why i have to pay the shipping for something that just arrived broken in order to get another one back in return.

I ordered a cheapo $40 video card that had HDMI audio. Worked a week and crapped out on me. Now i've got to pay the shipping cost to mail it back to get another one or be charged a 15% fee for a return.

happened not too long ago with my hard drive. $10 to ship a tiny package to them, just so they can send me back a refurbished one in return. all while losing all the data, having to install windows and everything on my other hard drive.

Some companies do it right though. Had to send in my Samsung monitor. They printed me out a pre-paid shipping label and all i had to do was find a box to ship it in.

Okay. I've going to have to revise this and change my peeve of the month to people/drivers and stopsigns.

Seems like no matter what stop sign i'm at there's always one idiot to 1. doesn't go when he needs to, 2. takes a million years to look every direction, 3. Go then pause, just to check again if it's clear.

But people who throw their cigarette butts out of their window is only a minor step behind.

ive got stuff i need to let out

    1. true on the stop signs. theres people who get to 4 way stops a good 10 seconds before you, but they insist on sitting there waiting for you as if youre going to nail them unless they wait for you, then after they do that awkward thing where they tell you to go, then you just wave for them to go then you get fed up and go then they go and you stop etc.

    2. circles. i hit them at 60-70km/h but generally people hit them at 40. student drivers even hit them at bare minimum 30, but thats understandable

one person here i swear to god on holy hell hits it at MAX 5km/h. i almost got rear ended because of how slow she goes. circles should just be banned, theres far too many crashes from idiots who dont know how they work. tons of times ive almost gotten hit from people going on the first exit from the left lane when the left lane is only for the 2nd and 3rd exit

Most seniors tend to have pristine older cars that they drive everyday. They drive past a lot of accidents.Mostly caused by the guy taking off around them in a fit of rage and hitting the car coming around the corner or over the crest of the hill.I have seen many of those.

Or in the case of this city, most seniors have pristine looking older cars because they haven't driven anywhere since they were young, except for holidays when they have to drive out to family, during which time driving anywhere becomes a nightmare.

I have a rather aggressive driving style and a fair amount of road rage when it comes to un-necessary slowness. I mean really what earthly need is there to go 20 in a 35 zone when there is a pile of cars behind your behind as far as the eye can see, if you want to drive that speed or for whatever reason need to...pull off and let others around you for christ sake its not hard. I also cant stand people who have huge lifted trucks with either a cowbell or a fake ball sack hanging from the trailer hitch it just screams I have a complex and some serious in adequacies...but my issue with them is they can NEVER drive that huge lifted POS. Veering all over the road, half running others off the road and dont forget the ill fate of watching one try to park...its like a freaking train wreck.

Next pet peave is yard sellers, why do they have the need to pack up everything in their garage down to yes used undies to display proudly onto some broke down tables and on vehicles for the world to see especially in the parking lot of my LFS. Because then all of the gawkers and onlookers want to come into my nice cool shop and try to leach telephone useage and bathroom priveledges...and Im just frankly to OCP to let people in there for a fear of what sorts of nasty they could have.

My pet peeve is people who feel entitled to drive in the fast lane of the highway. By this I mean, they come onto the highway and immediately proceed to the fast lane where they do 10-15mph less than the speed limit. Also, these individuals will remain in the fast lane at all times even if there is nothing else on the road and you are behind them. YOU are the one that must go into the middle lane and go around them.

    Drives me nuts.

I spend a lot of time in the fast lane myself but if there is nothing inside of me, then i'll move over or if someone is right behind me and there is nothing in front of me - i'll move over.

It's the whole 'i-am-driving-therefore-must-be-in-the-fast-lane-regardless-of-speed-or-traffic-or-anything-else' that gets me going!
