I just added a yellow king tiger pleco. I never see him eat =[.

He's been attached to the inside of a piece of driftwood for 1 day.

From what I read I thought he would eat some bloodworms, but I haven't seen him do so. I dropped some algae wafers in and I still see them sitting there.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi

It may take him anythin from 3-5 days to settle and start to eat. He may be happy munching on the driftwood at the mo, or coming out at night.

give him a bit longer to settle in, mine love cucumber but will only come out when all lights are off for it

drop the algae wafers in when the lights have been off for awhile. they're most active all night... maybe also try a piece of zucchini or cantaloupe to get him eating...

    Hmmm

Do these plecos not eat bloodworms? Could have sworn I read inspectors and king tigers like them.

How often do I feed him cucumber? I'm sure the clown loaches will like that as well. Will pick some up over weekend

BN's are mainly vegetarians, but most Hypancistrus will do fine on a diet suitable for most cichlids (some veggie content along with meatier foods.) NLS pellets are great for just about any pleco, even my L204's snack on them w/out any problems.
