Default tv broke, need new one

The screen got smashed by accident on our 46 inch lcd today I don't really have the money, but I need a new one, so I'm going to put it on on dell card so I have to order it online. I have about $1500 left on the card and am torn on which to get. I'd like to know your thoughts on a few tvs. Only features we really need are 1080P, at least 2 hdmi inputs, and digital audio in to hook to our surround sound

    This gets good reviews

This one is on sale for $1200

Another with good reviews and 5 hdmi ports

if none of these, what would you suggest. Thank you for you input

idk, lol, something bounced up and put a pea sized nick in it and now the whole screen's shot. I'll probably order the sony in a few minutes (we have shows we watch coming on NBC so I'll be hooking our pc montior to the cable box, thank god we bough a HD monitor, lol) and it should be here by Saturday if I pay for next day (only $4 more a month)

After doing some research I found the sony bravia KDL-46V4100 to have extremely good reviews. One site showed a 98% satisfaction rating with 87 people reviewing it, and other sites had similar results, so it looks like I'm going with that. Makes sence to match it with our Sony PS3 and it is suppose to play blue-rays very good. Thanks northern guy

Ordered, I also got a digital optical audio cable, now I just need a digital optical cable to digital coax cable converter, which dell doesn't sell (my old tv and receiver has digital coax input/ output, but the new tv has digital optical)

Now I get another $40 a month payment,, but its better then paying in full...on the plus side its no interest for 12 months

Is my old tv fixable, as in, could I sell it to someone for cheap and they can get it fixed? Its got a very small dent in it, and the screen doesn't work (just colors and lines)

You should go with plasma, heaps better than lcd.

But if you can't afford it, I'd just get a cheapy and save up some money before buying it.

Plasma wouldn't work to well in my room, every one I've viewed in the store had a glare and my tv room is also my fish room so viewing during the day would suck. Also, the only place I could buy it was dell.com with my dell card and they only sell lcd.

I think my next tv purchase would be the new LED tvs, but not til their prices go down and the technology improves. Now their up around 3-4 grand
