You can feed them the decapped eggs directly, no need to hatch them first. It isn't difficult to decap them, a google search will turn up the proper amount of bleach. If you want to hatch them afterward you need to use COLD water, otherwise the heat generated by the chemical reaction will kill the eggs. Fry will eat some microcritters from the sponge filter, but that won't supply all the food they'll need. They're also very sensitive to water changes.
