    Default help! my father wants koi

    he wants to put it in a 20 g thats got coral in it and is next door to my bluegill.
    my life is $@&%ed!
    mainly because the only thing i have to live for is fish

    Wow, Koi need a pond, they get over 2 feet long and certainly wouldn't live in a saltwater environment. Try and talk him out of it, or into building a pond. It looks like its a disaster waiting to happen

    but you can tell him it doesnt work with many fish. especially koi.

    Hmm...you should try to talk him out of it. Koi's have to be in ponds or in a really big tank. (Which I seldom see)

    Stunting is cruel and it probably wont happen with a koi. Goldfish and koi are actually really active fish, so even if it does stunt at 4 or 5 inches, It wouldn't have any room to move in a 20 gallon
