    Default Plants going MAD

    Hi all

well my plants are growing mad in my upstairs tank, its a 60l tank, well planted, sand substrate, some in pots some in the sand. I dont know all the names have a full tank pic at end of this post

The plan for this tank was heavy planted, and it is, the light (it came with the tank) is on about 10-12 hrs a day, sometimes longer, it has a red light on at night, (the light is a decorative bubble blower thing lol) it is to the side of room but seems to get a lot of daylight too.

I presume that it is ok that when I do a water change, that I can just pick the ends off the plants, as the plants end up coverin the whole of the top of the tank

pic here (I have since moved the wide leafed plant back a bit as it was undug by the freshwater mussle in there)also the plants have gone mad since this pic lol

    Many thanks

    Liz
