In ground pool with underground viewing window
Would this work? lol Have an in ground pool with one concrete face removed and replaced with an acrylic slab. Because the pool was already meant to support the weight, you won't have any leaking issues. Then, perhaps line the pool with a better insulating material so you don't spend 200 bucks a month heating the thing. I could see a tunnel running from your basement to the viewing room. Maintenance would be easy, just dive in! lol
*Sigh, I'm dreaming :/Foshizzle.

Possible, I'm sure, but VERY expensive!

Pft, it's an in ground pool. Half of California has in ground pools. I think a 2 inch thick acrylic slab of that size will cost a couple of grand though....lol

The tunnel would probably be quite expensive as well. It would have to be lined with something. Quite the concept anyway.

Urge them to go into Law, Medical or Accounting. That way they can earn the big bucks and buy you that 300g acrylic tank you've been hinting at all year. :)
