    0 Not allowed!
I just bought a 150 gallon aquarium and its stocked with only one angel fish one rainbow shark and a couple zebra danios. Im looking to fill it with many discus. Are the discus going to be all right with my one angel fish. HTe angel fish has certain emotional value. He ( or she for that matter) was my first fish and i havent been able to find other angels that he wont try to eat. what should i do?

Yes the angelfish will be alright. The main problem with keeping discus and angelfish together is that angelfish can carry diseases that infects the less hardy discus fish and many people therefore suggest against keeping angelfish and discus togheter while many other keep the species together with great success.

It is hard to say. Discus fish are very much individuals. Most dicus are relativly friendly and could be kept with the angel with out problems while other (more rarely) can be a terror to all other fish. One exampel is that I had a small group of discus (5cm/2 inches) in size which spend their their time bullying an adult nicaragua cichlid that was 25cm/ 19 inches and his slightly smaller female.
