My girlfriend is too cool!
She just came home with a ton of plants for my tank! They are fake but they aren't the cheapo plastic ones, they're the nice cloth ones and real life looking ones.
She got me 3 5" hair grass, 1 20" Ambulia, 1 20" Lodwigia, and two 20" bi-color Nesaeaa.
Though she does have an ulterior motive... she also came home with 2 small breeder boxes. (I have a prego molly and guppy and she hates that I let the Angels have lunch at the guppy nest. So I guess I'm saving some fry. So the mommy to be molly and guppy are now in the boxes... Boy are they PISSED!! lol They really don't like being in mommy jail.
I told her that if she keeps making me save fry I'm going to need another tank set up. Like a nice 25 gallon or so, another filter, heater, and some plexiglass so I can section off areas for mommys and fry. SHE SAID OK!!!!!

Only this is I need to wait a couple weeks. No biggie to me... it will take that long for the fish to have the fry and have them big enough to move anyway...
They can hang on side of my main tank until then.
Maybe I can sell the fry back to my local fish guy for some store credit! This breeding thing might not be so bad after all. Especially if my Angels pair up... $$$$ cha-ching!!!
I think she is coming down with MTS... WORKS FOR ME!!!

Thanks all! Very excited I get to buy STUFF!!!
Any suggestions on the best way to set up some breeding tanks? Would a sectioned off larger tank be good or would a few small 5-10 gallon tanks be better? I'm kind of limited on space but I have a nice spot next to my main tank where I could stack tanks. Something like those Eclipse 10 g tanks that come with everything?

Maybe you can throw in a 75-125g tank while you are at it... hehe. As NorthernGuy says.... craigslist is your friend!
