thinking of setting up more
I've got a 37, and 2 20g tanks empty. Well OK a 90 RR too, but thats for later. You guys that do the smaller tanks--is there an advantage to doing reef only, no fish? It seems the tanks would stay cleaner and the nitrates would be low, but on the other hand, you'd have to feed the corals. In these size tanks, which would be the better choice fish or no?

No fish is easier for sure, or just throw a single fish in, to make it a little more interesting. Most frag tanks I see have at one fish.
One suggestion...for frag tanks, shallow if better. So keep that in mind when you choose your tank.40g SW

If it was me, I would use one of the 20g tanks and use the larger for a SW fish setup.
I agree that keeping one fish in the tank will give it more appeal. Make sure you keep a proper CUC in a coral only tank. Something needs to clean up after them too.100g Reef
