    Default Nothing is ever easy!

I got my 55 stand at Walmarts a couple years ago and love it. It has the metal interlocking clips and very, very sturdy. The best part is it is 22 inches high which is perfect for me. Time to buy another one and can not find this stand anywhere or even online. All I find now is 28" high stands. I so do not want all my fish tank stands to all look different, different styles and especially different heights!!!!!!!

Another rant. And NO. I do not want to build one. Cost me more to build them because I'd have to buy tools first.

A suggestion... you might have some luck on places like ebay or your local graigs list. Good luck with your hunt!

Maybe having everything different would give each tank it's own look and personality?? Maybe... ??

I can feel your frustration on this,,,, I bought a brand of 1 gallon and 3 gallon tanks, (use for male betta's and young fry) Went back to get a few more and they ain't making them anymore.... that just pissed me off.... really wanted to keep them all the same.... Maybe Try running an ad or something, that's what I ended up doing and I've managed to find a few more just like the ones I have.....

Cost too much for shipping if I had to go that way. Just can't figure out why Walmart is not carrying them anymore. They're a great stand. Not beautiful but functional.

Hobbs I know you don't want to build one as you don't have the tools yourself, but what about having someone build one for you to match? Might be a little more expensive than just running out and buying one, but it will match and that seems to be what is important to you.

You don't need any tools to build a cinderblock and fiberboard stand!

Got one of those and don't want another. I can not imagine moving into a new apartment and dragging in a load of cement blocks.

Why not get some one to make it for you. Then you don't have to buy the tools! I have found that getting some one to make it it normally comes out cheaper and stronger than the shop ones.

Or you could get one of the new stands for the old tank, then at least they would match.

I have that same stand on my 55G tank, it was a gift from my neighbors down the road and I was a bit worried about the stand at first but it is suprisingly sturdy. The only beef I have with it is I cant fit an XP3 under it but meh...I just sacrificed looks and put it infront of the tank and ran the hoses around to the back of it(ghetto I know). I agree with checking your buy/sale ads or maybe calling other walmarts they may have an old version laying around somewhere. Heck my walmart stopped carrying 55G tanks all together.
