Electric blue Jack Dempsey
Just bought an EBJD he is sooooo cool!! He is super timid and was getting chase by my regular JD... which is common apparently. My regualr JD went back to the LFS for a credit since he is $10 CND and the EB is $90 CND LOL. He is only a day in the tank and hasn't started eating, which I have read can be a problem with this variant.
Any suggestions and inputs with care or stimulating eating would be appreciated.... I don't wanna lose any fish, but I especially don't wanna lose a $90 one!!!

Thanks... given what I have seen of EB pics mine is quite exceptional~!! Of course everyone thinks that of their pets heheh.
All the fish I have had in my tank to date have eaten their first day so I have been freakin' out all day at work.... nothing worse than coming home to a floater

I was screwing around taking some underwater shots of him last night but he is quite shy. Day 3 and he still won't eat of the surface.... I have spotted him picking thru the gravel, so I hope he is getting some leftovers at least!!Day off on Sunday so I am gonna spend some time taking pictures of my set up... to be posted soon!!!

My work friends say I am crazy spending $90 on a fish LMAO.... its prolly nothing to the marine guyz cost wise. My tanks I had years ago were very slap togther/economy filter types and the fish were odd balls, hybrids and hand me down (some of which were very nice still I might add). This time around I have gone all out with nice equipment and quite a few rare/expensive fish. The EBJD 'looks wise' is the show stealer of the tank easily.
