great pic of my mussel
Hi all
well I un burried him and got this pic as he was sticking his foot out, whish I had a video camera as I would film him burying himself

thanks, just been up and its got all its foot out under the substrate now, so will soon turn on side and bury in, I love the muscles as they are different
I think in the pid it looks like ive overfilled the muscle and its spilling out lol

only about a week, i love it as once buried it just sticks its mouth part out and you can either see it breathing or it burys more and it shoots sand all over the place, i brought one for my mums hall tank too as that has loads of food for it in it
I add algie tanks evry 3 days to help feed it and some invert food

I would suggest to target feed the mussel, because they are filter feeders, and unless you tank is very dirty they will end up starving and dying.
