My tank appears cycled - thanks for the help everybody!!
I just wanted to thank everyone for the help. My tank appears cycled! For the second day in a row now:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 5
and this is with very accurate API test kits.
For the first time in weeks I didn't feel I had to do a water change last night. I'll continue daily testing and do a water change if there's a spike, and I'll settle into a 20% WC on Saturdays.

water change
bud the best thing you can do for your tank would be to bump that water change to 50% on saturdays 20% really doesnt do much to keep your water clean... i do 50 to 60 % and sometimes more weekly
