    She felt pretty stupid and she's a whizz in kitchen...I would have felt as dumb...she probably heard about for weeks afterwards...my Dad thought it was hysterical, to her detriment.

    I am used to kg, L, mL, you know that stuff... But I am always converting stuff here, so people don't have to convert my measurements to see what size my tank is LOL, I find it much easier just to say I have a 42g and 22g, but its much easier to atucally measure the tank saying I have a 160L and 85L... LOL

    after years working on cars and boats, i agree. Get it hot and wet and it will slide right on. Getting it *off* will require cutting it.

    Try a glass of boiling hot water. Dip the end of the hose into it and let it sit for a minute of so. The heat turns it soft as chewing gum and with a bit of muscle it should stretch over the fitting.
    240 L Planted: 1 BGK, 2 Silver sharks, 1 Sailfin Molly, 2 female German Blue Ram's and 1 Siamese Algae eater

    90 L Planted: 20 Neon Tetra's, 10 Glo Light Tetra's, 1 adult Platy and about 50 thousand Platy fry
