75 gallon aquascape help
Since starting this hobby, we've never been that great at aquascaping and get jelous looking at others tanks. This 75 gallon is our goldfish tank, and we would like it to look somewhat decent. We already have a black background. Originally we were going to moderately plant it, but we just don't have the funds. I am going to get a few bunches of java ferns and Anubis , I know they won't eat them, lol. What would you suggest for this tank and where would you put? Nothing can have a sharp edge (our goldies are clumsy). Feel free to photoshop the pics and make any suggestions. Thank you. Stocking is whats in my sig and we will eventually add 1 more goldfish and possibly 3 dojo loaches (after we get rid of the HOB filter and get a 2nd canister filter)

some reason the pics are cloudy but the tank is actually clear

I definitely think you should plant it! That'll help it look fuller. You could even go with a few fake plants while your real ones are filling out. You may want to plant some plants around the white tube to hide it some. Like, plant a plant in each of the "L" shapes made by the tube.
You can also spread the ornament out some. When you get your plants, spread the ornaments out some and plant in between them.
I'm no expert or anything - that's just what I would do! :) I'm sure other people will have more (probably better) advice for you! Good luck :)

Thank you for the suggestions. The only problem with plants is they don't really sell any locally. I do want to plant it, and I actually have a decent light (not currently on the tank and it needs bulbs).

Use silks for now...from craft supply stores.(Walmart craft aisle is 99cents for a decent sized plant) Some are really realistic! You could always use live plants if and when you're able to get them...

Thank you, I was thinking driftwood as well, same problem with the plants there, no one sells it, or if they do its $50 or more for a piece

Spring isn't that far away! YAY
You could take a drive to a lake and see what the ice pushed up on shore.
You should be able to find some nice pieces that way.I can't see myself ever buying driftwood here.Cars are cheaper!
