It's hard for me to say what could be wrong. For how long has it been like that? Any cause for increased stress in the tank? New tank mates, other fish suddenly actively aggressive/breeding? How are your parameters and when was the last w/c? Other fish are acting normally?

Other fish are okay, cory's have even given me more eggs, 50% WC was a few days ago, parameters are fine no ammonia or trItes, trAtes are less than 20 this particualar fish is my latest inhabitant, only have her 2 weeks.
Should I take her out (is it a lost cause??) or even worse could she make my other fish sick?juwel rio 180

Fishalicious may well be on to something. If you can, call the LFS to see where they source the gbr's (local breeder or imports from Asia-mass bred). If it's Asian mass-bred, I'm not sure that there will much you can do.

I really don't know for sure, but I killed one of mine last week by doing too large of a water change. They are sensitive fish...I did a 40% change, and lost one within 24hours. Small, more frequent changes are best for these fish...so sorry!

Unfortunately she was dead this morning, no more GBR for me, shame because she was a lovely fish.
