Done Stressing
I've been stressing about lights, ferts and CO2 for two weeks now trying to figure out how to make my plants grow ... here is what I finally decided today ... I'm going to dose the tank with Flourish Excel and a general fert and I'm just going to keep the 2.75w/g of light that I have ... if they live and grow great ... if not, then I'll figure out what to do ... I'm done trying to figure it all out and I'm done spending money on this tank ... and the plants will be here on friday ...

Just see how it goes. If the plants are doing fine don't try to complicate things even further.

Good plan....tanks aren't supposed to be causing stress. I sometimes think we "overthink" things...

Me too...and it is exhausting! As you get older(not sure how old you are), you have to ease up a little or you spend your life "fixing" things...

Remember to research each plant and see how it responds to excel. Some plants will literally melt away when dosed with excel.
