I think my blue mystery snail ate the black mystery snail
So last night I looked in the tank and the *LARGE* blue mystery snail is on top/around the black one.
I watched for a few minutes. It was pretty gross. The black snail looked like he was almost out of his shell!
Were they mating?
Any help would be so appreciated!
Thanks much!

Sounds like mating. They won't eat each other unless the one is already dead.
10 gallon planted: white cloud mountain minnows, RCS
29 gallon planted: Dalmation lyretail mollies, red mickey platies, wrestling halfbeaks, one Kribensis, and an apple snail
5 rabbits, 2 cats, and one husband

To check and see if a snail is dead, remove it and give it a sniff, once dead they smell horrible.
If it doesnt smell chances are they are mating, but yes if one dies the others will be on it fast.
Mating looks like one snail is hitching a ride on the other, whilst touching and picking up under its carrier's shell in the front.
