Christmas Moss Came In!
It finally came in today! I thought it was gonna come to my front door by UPS...INSTEAD IT CAME IN A ENVELOPE !! I rushed home, and tried to put it in the mesh, realizing it was harder then I thought I started panicking , I knocked over my air pump, it then came plumitting down into the tank! I quickly took it out and unplugged it, as of now I am afraid of plugging it in and stuck with moss that looks like it wont make it......the agony! Why does bad stuff always happen to me?

From what I've seen when Wolf orders plants, they always come in looking brown and like they're on their last legs. It usually comes back and looks like it'll make it after a few weeks.
As for the air pump, let it dry for 24 hours. Don't plug it in. That's no worse than the time I tripped and sent a bucket of water cascading all over the active power strip I use for the tank.

You can take your air pump apart and dry it out.It is pretty simple to do and you can see what has to be changed when it stops working!
Those rubber diaphrams wear out and are easy to replace.
Good luck with your moss.

When moss is in it's loose form, which is what it is normall sent in, its is really brown. This is actually the "leaves" of the moss that converted into roots to try and get as much nutritional value from the water as it can. As soon as you tie it to something and keep it in your tank for a week, it will look a lot better. Moss is a hard thing to kill. :)

LOL I over bleached my java moss to get rid of pond snails.I bleached it so bad that all the needles fell off.Every last needle,I was shocked.I was also amazed when it started to grow back.
It did not take long. Its pretyy hardy stuff!
