I saw a 25ft python at wal-mart for 29.99. I paid 40 for mine and feel like a dunce for doing so .

Let me know how you get on...if you can unscrew the aerator it should be easy enough to buy an adapter that will fit the python...if not and let me know...I'll go to the Praxis and get you one (unless you have a weird sized tap/faucet) and post it over.

just out of curiosity, how do you add dechlor when using a python?
10g- planted freshwater
10 gallon freshwater, planted tank
1 Redigobius balteatus (rhinohorn goby), 2 Trichopsis pumila (sparkling gourami), 5 mircorasbora erythromicron (emerald dwarf rasbora), 1 Celestichthys margaritatus (celestial pearl danio), 1 Dermogenys pusilla (wrestling halfbeak), 6 amano shrimp
lots o malayn needle point snails
3g- freshwater
java moss

you can add it shortly after or just before refilling the tank

A hose connection might work and you should be able to get one at a garden center...I have a standard European aerator, that I unscrewed and screwed in a stainless steel adapter that I think is half inch or 3/4 inch. What size is the python bit that attaches to the tap? I don't have Python, but a a knock-off version that uses the same blue thingie as for filling up water beds and use a regular good quality garden house that I only use for the tanks.
