    LOL I was doing the same thing but I was soaking mine to get it to sink. It was a great piece of bogwood but I allowed it to dry out so it would sink no more. I finally just tossed it out. Could have gone thru the ridual of gluing it to slate but seemed more trouble than worth it.

    Default How to Sink driftwood

    Problem solved
    take a trip to the river and find a few peices of slate, drill some holes in the slate with a massonary bit use stainless steel screws and screw the slate to the drftwood easy as 1,2,3
