Good size tank. You might want to get a few more loaches as even two can get lonely. They like groups. IMO at least 4-5. And you have the room too. Watch that your africans don't bully them!

thanks guys! yeah i got all the fish about the same size to minimize bullying except the synodontis hes about 5in. long and all the others are from about 1.5 to maybe 3in. long but do you guys think that i should add some rocks to the tank because origanally i was planning on making it an amazonian tank but decided to go with african cichlids.

are you sure it's 100g?
I was just thinking it usually goes 55g, 75g, 95g and mine is like a 95 but extra tall making it 110g
But 95g is close to 100g so even if it's 95 i too would probably call it a 100g tank for simplicity sake.
I was just curious....

Nice looking tank. I too would fill it to the top though. Looks much nicer to not have a water line.

Yes, you definitely need the rockwork, and lots of it for Africans!!!

it was sold at the store for 100g unless they just marked it as that its a 100g. Anyway thanks guys for the info ill be sure to put some rockwork in it thats why i havent filled it up all the way because the rocks will probably raise the water level.
