I believe the import of them is now illegal and rightfully so. People buy them, they get too huge so they release them into the lakes where they cause major damage to other species.

i read on the internet that the import of giant species of snakeheads are illegal but the dwarf species were still avalible

Maybe in Canada but I do not think you can get them in the States.
Why do you want Snakeheads anyhow,they will end up killing everything in your tank.Ray

They are illegal to import, own, and/or posses in the united states.
