hi, I would like to know what makes the water look sort of whitesh. I have tested the water for ph and all the rest and they are all within the range that is normal for discus. KarenB

That would be a bacteria bloom. Did you by any chance just finish cycling the tank? Have you made any changes to the tank recently at all?

water
The water in the aquarium has sort of a whitish or cloud to it, and I have tested all of the ranges and they all seem to be in range, could it be because we are on city water? KarenB

how long has the tank been set up?
Did you cycle?
You say the water parameters are in range, what exactly are they?
not knowing all the necessary info makes it nearly impossible to say what the problem is.
If I had to take a wild guess I would say bacterial bloomAs I get older I find myself thinking about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.
